DISH rolls out 4K Android OTT box

31% of households have multiple OTT subscriptions, research shows

A study by Parks Associates has revealed that around 31% of broadband households subscribe to multiple over-the-top services. The study also revealed that the most common pairing is Netflix and Amazon video services, which are found in 12% of US broadband households. CEDMagazine.com (12/28)

Joe Widoff retires as head of SBCA, Steve Hill assumed leadership role on Jan. 1

Joe Widoff, who has served as the Executive Director of SBCA since July of 2008, retired at the end of 2016. Steve Hill assumed the position of President of SBCA on Jan. 1, 2017. Hill is a 13 veteran of SBCA who has designed and led SBCA's certification and professional development services, as well as membership and a host of additional projects during his tenure.
